Food is a universal language that connects us all. Alongside Vietnamese and English, my family and I often share the love language of sharing a meal together, whether that be a potluck when everyone is in town or my aunt delivering seasonal fruits and vegetables from her garden.

Like a chef who experiments with ingredients to create a dish, my role as an artist translates to work and play with mediums, analog or digial, to reflect themes of culture, tenderness, and memory asking us to think beyond the unspoken words of a shared meal and moments in between.

This project was created during Return Form, 2025 Artist Residency, co-led by Naomi Benson and Fabian Molina.

What was the secret ingredient to our graphic design senior showcase?

Sugar, spice, and everything FRESH (including you!).

The visual direction for Fresh: New Look, Same Great Taste was cooked up using vibrant branding to reflect the uniqueness of each designer from the graduating class of Portland State University’s Graphic Design program in Fall 2023.

Hatfield Futures

(Visual Identity, Layout)

Partnering with Oregon's Kitchen Table, I developed a custom lettered logo along with the program for The Hatfield Futures Project 2023. The visual identity was inspired by the dynamism of galactic motion, connecting present to future.

The Hatfield Futures Project connects youth visionaries, leaders, and thinkers from across the state to create and present innovative solutions for Oregon’s most important social, cultural, economic and environmental issues.
